MOREHEAD, Ky. – Women's hoops continues their Midwest road trip as they head to St. Charles, Mo., Saturday for their first meeting against new OVC foe Lindenwood.
The Eagles are entering Saturday's contest after a hard-fought comeback attempt at SIUE. The team saw two players score in double figures, led by
Sophie Benharouga and
Jayden Rhodes, who had 13 points apiece.
Lindenwood is still looking for their first OVC victory after falling in a close matchup against Southern Indiana Thursday night. Mary McGrath led the Lions with 19 points and six rebounds, followed closely by Devin Fuhring who posted 16 points and five rebounds.

Jayden Rhodes had the best game of her career against the Cougars, notching career-highs in points (13), rebounds (7), assists (3), and steals (2).
• Thursday was the 11th time this season Morehead State had 10 or more steals in a game. This is the most games with 10+ steals in a season for the Eagles since 2018-19, when they had 18 such performances.
• The 27 points scored by the Eagles in the fourth quarter against SIUE is the most points scored in any single quarter for Morehead State against DI competition since January 30, 2020.

Sandra Lin is second in the conference in both assists and assists per game, and her 10 assists against SEMO is tied for the most in a game by any OVC player this season.
• The Eagles held SIUE under 40% shooting from the field. This is the eight time they've held an opponent under 40% shooting this season, a feat that only happened five times all of last season.
