MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State Soccer central midfielder
Kate Larbes has earned the final Ohio Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Week.
Her award is the fourth such weekly honor for the program this year and the second player to achieve Offensive Player of the Week.
From Liberty Township, Ohio, the fifth-year Eagle scored both goals in the 2-0 win at SIUEÂ Sunday. She helped Morehead State defeat eventual OVC regular-season champion Tennessee Tech on Thursday as well as the Eagles finished the pre-tournament schedule with their best record since 2013 (6-1-2 OVC, second place).
Larbes is the team co-leader in goals with four, with all four coming in two separate matches where she scored twice.
Morehead State has a double bye into the OVC Tournament semifinals and will next play at 8 p.m. ET on Nov. 2 against one of three potential opponents.
