MOREHEAD, Ky. -- After nearly 7,000 miles of travel over the past three weeks, Morehead State Football finally returns to Jayne Stadium this weekend for Homecoming against Butler. Game time Saturday is 2 p.m. ET.
The game can be heard on the Eagle Sports Radio Network with WIVY-96.3 FM serving as flagship station. Chuck Mraz, Jason Blanton and Tom Lewis provide the radio call. Fans can also hear it on MSUEagles.com, WGOH-100.9 FM/1370 AM and WMST-106.9 FM/1150 AM. The game will stream live on ESPN+ with Jared Stacy and Hunter Hurst teaming up as the voices for the second straight season.
Morehead State has had resounding success against Butler when the teams play in Morehead, leading 10-3.

GAME NOTES
• Butler has now been the Eagles' Homecoming opponent in three of the last five seasons, with two victories over the Bulldogs in that span.
• Four of the Eagles' five conference games have been decided by seven points or less, with the fifth being a 31-7 win over Dayton. The Eagles lost in the final 10 seconds at St. Thomas but won on the final play at Valparaiso.
• Morehead State has three players from Indiana, and all three are from the Indianapolis vicinity where Butler is located.

Ryan Upp returned to form at San Diego, hauling in nine catches for 89 yards. Upp's 85.2 yards per game ranks second in the PFL. He's had three games with eight or more catches. Upp needs just 53 more yards to break into the top 20 in single-season receiving yards in program history, surpassing MSU Hall of Famer Nick Feldman.
• Morehead State's defense ranks second among PFL teams in tackles for loss per game. The Eagle D generates six TFLs per game.
• Morehead State leads the PFL in punt return yardage. The Eagles average 8.29 yards per return.
• QB
Carter Cravens needs only 52 passing yards to become just the ninth QB in program history to record a 2,000+ passing yard season. It's been accomplished 20 times by eight different signal callers.
• Defensive back
Cooper Krezek has piled up 272 career tackles, including 237 just in the past three seasons. He was one of only two Eagles since 2015 to record a 100+ tackle season when he hit that figure (100) exactly last fall.
• Defensive backs
Kaleb Lyons and
Jihad McCall each notched interceptions at San Diego and are tied for the team lead with three pick-offs each. Both now also have four career interceptions.

Nathan Hazlett, who booted a game-winning 28-yard FG at Valparaiso, is 6-of-7 on field goals and 12-of-13 on PATs, while
Thomas Schwartz V is 2-of-2 on FGs. Punter
