MOREHEAD,Ky. -- Morehead State Beach Volleyball will be back in action soon as the Eagles will hit the road for four matches in Tennessee on Sunday and Monday.
The Eagles will first face first-year OVC program Tennessee Tech on the Golden Eagles' home sand on Sunday at 1 and 3 p.m. ET, then head east for a two-match rematch with Tusculum in Greeneville, Tenn., Monday at Noon and 2 p.m. Live results will be on MSUEagles.com.
MSU has yet to face TTU as the travel partners did not play at the first OVC weekend. TTU enters play at 3-7 overall and 1-3 in OVC matches. The Golden Eagles have dropped five in a row. Tusculum is 6-9. The Pioneers edged the Eagles 3-2 twice on March 20 at Giovanni's Breadstick Beach at MSU.
Brenna Bommer and
Andrea Grimes have been bright spots for the Eagles at No. 5. The pair is 6-1. Those two, along with
Abby Hulsman, lead MSU with eight wins apiece.Â
Trinity Miller and
Sydney Wyman have posted a 6-4 mark at No. 1, while
Bridget Bessler and
Kinsey McAfee are 4-2, at Nos. 2 and 3.Â
