MOREHEAD, Ky. – Morehead State soccer will be on the road for the first time in 2023 on Sunday, as the Eagles travel to face a first-time opponent in Detroit Mercy. Kick-off is at 1 p.m. ET in the Motor City.
The Eagles opened 2023 by dominating the stat sheet but fell 3-0 to Marshall on Thursday. Detroit looked headed for a win in its season opener, but Central Michigan tied the match in the 89th minute and the Titans settled for a 3-3 stalemate.
"There were a lot of positives against Marshall that we must build upon. We're looking for a response from our players against Detroit," said head coach
Chris Fox.
