MOREHEAD, Ky. – It's the "second season" for Morehead State soccer. After battling through non-conference, the OVC race begins Sunday for the Eagles as they make their furthest trip - to Little Rock. Match time is 1 p.m. ET.

Morehead State leads the series with Little Rock 3-1. The teams played three matches in 1998, 1999 and 2000 before taking a 22-year hiatus when LR joined the OVC last season. The Eagles won 2-0 in Morehead last fall.

- This matchup pits two of the more productive offenses in the league. Morehead State leads the conference in shots (95) and ranks tied for second in most goals (9). The Trojans also get their chances, with 88 shots. And LR leads the OVC with 13 goals.

Colleen Swift was in the right place Thursday to score her 13th career goal. She collected a deflection and scored the Eagles' second and go-ahead goal against UNC Asheville.
- Swift moved above 5,000 minutes played in her career Thursday. While records aren't official for non-goalkeeper minutes, Swift's 5,030 career minutes on the field would be ranked among the most ever for a Morehead State player. That's more than 80 hours of on-the-field action!

Michelle Hochstadt picked up her first career assist Thursday, sending a cross pass that Swift eventually scored on.

Hedda Ornberg is the only OVC player to average more than two shots per match, leading the conference.

Anna Lohrer scored her second official career goal against UNCA. Her goal came after a flurry of activity in the box. Her other goal came off a header on a corner kick. While not officially a goal, Lohrer did net the deciding penalty kick in the Eagles' OVC Tournament match against UT Martin last season.
- 19 different players have started at least one match. The Eagles have used seven different starters combinations.
