Program Record 74 Football Eagles Land on 2023 PFL Honor Roll

MOREHEAD, Ky. -- A program record 74 Morehead State football student-athletes landed a spot on the 2023 Pioneer Football League Honor Roll.

The previous school standard for honor roll members was 62 for 2022.

The PFL recognized a record 733 student-athletes from its 11 member institutions to the 2023 PFL Academic Honor Roll. It is the second consecutive year the league has recognized more than 700 student-athletes on its honor roll.

The PFL Academic Honor Roll consists of student-athletes who participated in football at member institutions during the semester of competition and posted a 3.0 grade-point average or higher during the semester while enrolled full-time in accordance with NCAA rules.

MSU had 13 football athletes earn a perfect 4.0 for the semester, including Luke Bauer, Andrew Belford, Dylan Cook, Isaiah Davis, Jahleel Holmes, Cooper Krezek, Dylan Leonardis, Kairo Reid, Jake Rhodes, Evan Roach, Thomas Schwartz V, Kenneth Shaffner and Keenan Wolf.
