MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State men's basketball hosts the Lindenwood Lions in the final regular-season game od the 2023-24 season Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET.
Morehead State concludes the regular season looking to capture a share of its second straight OVC regular season title. It would mark the program's first back-to-back titles since 1955-56 and 1956-57.
It will be senior day for the Eagles as they honor
Riley Minix,
Zach Iyeyemi,
Jordan Lathon and
Kalil Thomas along with managers as well.
Drew Thelwell will also have a special recognition.

• Morehead State, the OVC's only remaining team in Kentucky, is easily the winningest Division I MBB program in the state in the past four seasons with 90 wins.
• For seeding purposes for OVC Tournament, if MSU is in a three-way tie with UT Martin and Little Rock, the Eagles will get the No. 3 seed. Western Illinois (No. 4) is the lone team locked into a seed.
• MSU upped its OVC wins to 57 in the last four seasons.
• MSU needs just three more wins to tie the program record for wins in a season (25 in 2010-11 and 1983-84). The 1983-84 team is having its 40th reunion during Saturday's game.
• Both
Kalil Thomas and
Jordan Lathon joined the 1,000 career point club - in the same game this season.

Drew Thelwell became the winningest individual player in program history Feb. 10 vs. Eastern Illinois with 88 (now with 89). He broke Terrence Hill's record of 87 from 2008-09 to 2011-12.

Riley Minix is the conference's second leading scorer on average, putting in 20.4 per outing.

Riley Minix has eight consecutive games with a double-double and now 17 for the season. Its the most double-doubles in a year since Johni Broome's 22 in 2021-22. The MSU record is 29 in a season by Kenneth Faried in 2010-11. He has recorded 75 career double-doubles in his time at MSU (OVC-best 17) and Southeastern (Fla.) (58).

Riley Minix has scored 611 points this season, the 10th best single-season mark in program history. He is the 10th player in history of the Eagles to score 600+ in a season.

Riley Minix has 15 20+ point efforts this season, including 10 of the last 12 games, and has now scored 2,659 career collegiate points to go along with 1,341 career rebounds. He has also scored 30+ thrice this year.

Drew Thelwell has 185 total assists this year, easily leading the league and ranking sixth nationally. Thelwell needs just 20 more assists to set the MSU single-season record of 204 (Nik Stojokovic 2007-08).

Kalil Thomas has made 150 career three-pointers in just his two seasons at MSU, which ranks 10th on the program career list. In his career, Thomas has drained 244 triples.

Kalil Thomas needs only 10 more three-pointers made to set the MSU single-season mark, held by Maze Stallworth with 95 in 2009-10. His 86 triples this year is now the fourth highest total in a season.

Jordan Lathon has 20 double-figure scoring games and 11 games with 20+. Despite missing four games, Lathon still ranks sixth in the OVC in scoring at 16.1 per game.

Dieonte Miles posted his third career double figure scoring game with 11 against SEMO. It marked his highest OVC point total this season.

Drew Thelwell. He tied his career high with five rebounds.
• MSU has 274 total three-pointers made this season. It's the third straight season with 250+ triples.
• MSU leads the OVC in scoring defense, scoring margin, FG percentage, FG percentage defense, 3-pointers made per game, rebounding defense and rebounding margin.
