MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State Beach Volleyball advanced in the OVC Tournament Friday morning with a 3-1 victory over Eastern Illinois, but the Eagles' season ultimately was halted short of the championship later in the day as Lindenwood got past MSU 3-1.
The Eagles' season finished with a 10-15 record.

Peighton Isley wrapped up their season with two wins as Hargan finished the campaign with a team-best 16 victories.
In the EIU win, The Eagles picked up a forfeit win at No. 5 before Hargan and Isley won a straight-set decision at No. 3, 21-15, 21-18. MSU sealed the win when

Shea Hefner completed a three-set victory at No. 2, 21-18, 17-21, 15-11.Â
Isley and Hargan secured the lone point for their team in the Lindenwood match, completing their 21-15, 21-18 win just before the Lions' sealed the overall win with a victory at No. 1. At No. 5,
Brenna Bommer and
Lily-Kate Carver took their match to the third frame before finally falling 15-13.Â
