MOREHEAD, Ky. --
Morehead State Men's Basketball's long-time rival, Eastern Kentucky, will be making an appearance in Johnson Arena for the first time in five seasons as the Eagles are set to tip off the 2025-26 season with an exhibition game versus the Colonels on Monday, Oct. 27 at 6:30 p.m. ET.

The ticketed event will also feature poster schedule giveaways and Greek Night. It is set to be broadcast on the Eagle Sports Radio Network but will not be on ESPN+, so all fans are encouraged to come get an early look at the 2025-26 Eagles at Johnson Arena.

Tickets for the EKU game will be available to purchase online soon. Season tickets are also on sale now as MSU hosts 13 regular-season games on FamilyLeisure.com Court.

The program's longest rivalry dates back to the 1930-31 season but the teams have not met since the 2021 OVC Tournament semifinals where MSU topped the Colonels 67-64 en route to eventually winning the tournament title that season. EKU has been a member of the Atlantic Sun Conference since 2021.

While the Colonels lead the all-time series 110-87, MSU won nine of the last 13 games.
