Morehead, Ky.-- The Morehead State volleyball team takes their 10-0 conference record to Little Rock this weekend to square off with the Trojans in an Ohio Valley Conference series Friday and Saturday at the Jack Stephens Center.

M.E. Hargan kicked off the weekend with 23 kills in just three sets, the highest termination total in three sets in the OVC this season. Junior setter
Sydney Sennett posted 81 kills in the two matches, averaging 13.5 assists per set. Hargan and Sennett were both honored with weekly awards Monday by the OVC.
The first serve is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET Friday and 1:00 p.m. ET Saturday. Both matches are scheduled to be aired on ESPN+.

- Morehead State leads the Ohio Valley Conference in kills (13.72 kills per set) and hitting percentage (.250). The Eagles rank second in total blocks (2.14 blocks per set) and second in service aces averaging 1.86 aces per set (132 total).
- The Eagles' 10-match winning streak is the longest since the 2021 season. Morehead State dropped their first two conference tilts against Austin Peay that fall, then ran off 14 straight wins. MSU finished the season as OVC Co-Champions and fell in the OVC Tournament finals to Southeast Missouri.
- M.E. Hargan leads the OVC with 325 kills (4.58 kills per set). She ranks 17th nationally. Her 381 points this season (5.37 points/set) leads the OVC and ranks ninth in the country.
- Hargan was named OVC Offensive Player of the Week Monday (her fourth honor of the season) for her play last week against Tennessee State and at SEMO. She posted 48 kills in just nine sets for a 5.33 kills per set average. She posted 23 kills last Friday in MSU's sweep of SEMO, the highest total in a three-set match this season, and scored 26.5 points, the most in the OVC in a three-setter, and the second highest point total by an OVC player regardless of the number of sets.
- Hargan has shown her versatility in the last stretch of matches beyond kills and points: she set a new career high with four block solos against Tennessee Tech on October 16th and matched her career high with four service aces last Saturday at Southeast Missouri. Last week she slugged nine aces in the Eagles' three matches. She leads the Eagles with 27 aces.
- Junior Hollan Everett is second on the club with 226 kills (3.18 kills per set). In conference play, she is averaging 3.53 kills per set, which is sixth in the OVC. She has scored 255.5 points this season. Her 3.60 points per set rate ranks ninth in the OVC.
- Sydney Sennett was named the OVC Setter of the Week Monday, her third award this season. She posted 113 assists last week in just 9 nine sets played. Her 12.55 assists per set led the OVC last week. Sennett has piled up 699 assists this season. She ranks second in the OVC averaging 9.85 assists per set. Sennett has posted six 40+ assists matches this season, half of those coming in just three sets.
- With 64 service aces in just 32 sets in conference play, MSU leads the OVC averaging an even two solos per set. Sophomore Tinsley Brown has hit 14 of her 19 aces on the season in conference matches, ranking second in the OVC. Junior middle Amelia Nott has smacked 13 of her 26 aces in OVC play, ranking seventh in the conference.
SCOUTING THE TROJANS
- Little Rock comes into the series on a four-match losing streak. Last Saturday, the Trojans took two of the first three sets before dropping the last two sets at Eastern Illinois, falling in five frames. The Trojans were swept by EIU Friday (22-25, 23-25, 21-25). Little Rock lost a four-setter and a five-setter two weeks ago at Southern Indiana after going 6-0 the first three weeks of conference play.
- The Trojans are solid defensively: Little Rock ranks first in the OVC with a .176 opponent hitting percentage and third averaging 17.24 digs per set. Little Rock ranks fifth in blocks, led by Jaycee Kennedy with 87 total blocks (4th in the OVC at 1.06 blocks per set).
- The Trojan attack is led by Bella Cherry with 270 kills on the season. She is averaging 3.25 kills per set, which ranks ninth in the OVC.
- Trojan libero Andrea Roman has piled up 420 digs this season to-date. Her 5.06 digs per set rate ranks second in the OVC. Last season, she set the school record with 624 digs. Her 1,379 career digs are the third-most in program history.

- Hargan has notched 1,320 kills in her career, which ranks 3rd in the Morehead State record book for the modern, 25-point rally scoring era.
