Enander Named OVC Newcomer of the Week

Morehead, Ky. -- Morehead State's Josefine Enander has been named the Ohio Valley Conference Newcomer of the Week the conference announced on Tuesday.
 
A sophomore from Spagna, Sweden, Enander had a breakout performance Sunday in the Eagles' 115-36 win over Kentucky Christian, setting a career high scoring 23 points. She hit eight of her 13 field goal attempts, including hitting seven of her eight three-point attempts.
 
Enander also set career highs with five rebounds, four assists and four steals in her 26 minutes of play against the Knights.
 
Enander and the Eagles return to play on New Year's Day when they visit Lindenwood. Tipoff is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. ET. The game can be heard on the Eagle Sports Network (flagship WIVY 96.3 FM) with Tom Lewis on the call. It can also be seen on ESPN+.
