Kate Dike has been named the Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Week for her play last week against Murray State and Louisiana.
Dike carried the Eagles Sunday posting her third career double-double with career highs 35 points and 12 rebounds in MSU's 61-54 win at Louisiana. The graduate student from Kiev, Ukraine set also career highs with 12 field goals, three three-pointers, and eight free throws made.
Dike kicked off the week with 14 points and eight rebounds against Murray State Wednesday night against Eastern Kentucky. She leads the Eagles averaging 13.9 points and 6.7 rebounds per game.
Dike and the Eagles travel north to South Bend, Indiana to visit 19
th-ranked Notre Dame for their last non-conference matchup of the season before OVC play Thursday. Tipoff is set for 7:00 p.m. ET. The game can be heard on the Eagle Sports Network with Tom Lewis and Wes Holland on the call. It can also be watched on ACCNx.
