• Morehead State is in the midst of a six-game losing streak, something that has not happened within the program since the 2017-18 season. MSU had not lost four straight home since the 2014-15 season until falling Thursday. The last five-game home losing skid hasn't happened since 2005-06.

• The Eagles had made 10+ free throws in 12 straight games before only connecting on eight Thursday versus SIUE.

Jerone Morton's 21 points Thursday versus SIUE was a career-high, eclipsing his previous mark of 20. Morton has 13 double-figure scoring efforts this winter.

• MSU's +4.6 rebounding margin against other league foes leads the conference. MSU has out-rebounded 11 of its last 12 overall opponents.

• Despite not attempting a free throw in the last two contests, George Marshall has still made 24 of his last 25 free throws. He made 22 consecutive free throws since the Dec. 31st game at Southern Indiana before missing his third attempt against SEMO Feb. 6.

• MSU is averaging just 63.9 points in the 17 conference games. The Eagles' three-point accuracy in league action has dipped to 31 percent.

• The Eagles have been held to less than 70 points in eight straight games. In five of those contests, the Eagles hit less than 40 percent from the floor.

• Morehead State has qualified for the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament for the seventh straight season. According to the standings and games remaining, the Eagles could finish anywhere from the 3rd through 8th seeds.
