MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Cady Hatch, an all-conference athlete from the junior college ranks, has signed to join the Morehead State Beach Volleyball program for the 2026 season.
Hatch, a native of Roseville, Calif., transfers to the Eagles after two stellar campaigns at American River College in North Highlands, Calif.
She was named Big 8 All-Conference where she teamed with her partner to secure second place in the league. ARC finished 18-6. She was also Academic All-Conference twice.
"I chose Morehead State because it felt like the right fit for me. I'm excited to pursue a business degree here while continuing to grow as an athlete," she said. "The beach volleyball program is exactly what I was looking for. The coaching staff is amazing, and the girls on the team have been so welcoming and supportive. What really stood out to me was the close-knit community. The campus is stunning, and I love being surrounded by nature with so many amazing hiking spots and lakes close by."
Hatch was also a member of the indoor squad at American River, helping the Beavers to the second round at the state championship in 2024 with a 28-5 record. In 2023, the team was 24-7.
Hatch graduated from Woodcreek High School in 2023 and played for Synergy Force club.
"I'm most excited to build strong friendships with the girls on the team and continue growing as a player," she added. "I'm looking forward to competing at a higher level and being part of such a supportive environment. I'm also excited to complete my major in business."
