Morehead, Ky.-- The Morehead State volleyball team travels to Nashville for a rare mid-week conference tilt against Tennessee State Tuesday.
The Eagles sport an 8-5 record after sweeping the series against Southern Indiana in the first conference weekend of the season. Tennessee State is 1-13 on the season after being swept by SIUE to open conference play at home in Nashville.

- Sarah Heath is third on the team with 106 kills and tied for third on the team with 27 total blocks. Heath had a nice weekend against Southern Indiana; she posted 11 kills in MSU's four-set win Friday over the Screaming Eagles and came back Saturday tying her career-high with 12 kills and added three blocks.
- Eagle setter Sydney Sennett has dished out 406 assists on the season. Her 8.83 assists per set rate ranks third in the Ohio Valley Conference. She had a solid weekend against Southern Indiana in the Eagles' two wins to open conference play. She piled up 47 assists Friday night, just one shy of her career high, in MSU's four-set win. She added 35 more Saturday to average 11.71 assists per set for the series.
- Morehead native Bailey Brashear piled up five total blocks Saturday against USI to pace the Eagles. She leads MSU with 38 total blocks, averaging 0.83 blocks per set, which ranks ninth in the OVC.
- Amelia Nott is fourth on the team with 96 kills and is second on the club with 32 total blocks. Her .321 attack percentage ranks third in the OVC. That efficiency, should she maintain it through the end of the season, would be the third highest in the rally-scoring era (2001-present).
- Nott has 231 career total blocks. That ranks 10th in the modern era (2008-present) in the program's record book. She needs 17 more blocks to tie Jordan Jones (2015-18) for ninth in the MSU record book.
SCOUTING THE TIGERS
Tennessee State comes into the match with a 1-13 mark on the season. They opened Ohio Valley Conference play with two losses to SIUE last weekend in Nashville.
