Sydney Sennett have been selected for Player of the Week honors in the Ohio Valley Conference for their performance in the Comfort Inn-Vitational in Morehead Friday and Saturday.
In the three matches, the senior from Elizabethtown slugged 44 kills, averaging 3.67 kills per set while posting a .257 hitting percentage. The two-time First Team All-OVC selection also recorded four service aces and six total blocks while accounting for 51.5 points scored.

Kyrsten Becker-McBride. "She did a great job finding different ways to score against some very scrappy defensive teams."
Sennett piled up 110 assists through the tournament, averaging 9.17 assists per set. She posted a career high 48 assists Friday night against UIC and backed it up Saturday with 46 against Radford. The junior from Normal, Ill., ran an efficient Eagle offense that posted a .373 hitting percentage for the match, the highest percentage in two seasons for Morehead State.
"Sydney did a great job getting our attackers in great situations this weekend, highlighted by the .373 hitting efficiency on Saturday," said Becker-McBride. "She was able to get all of our attackers involved and to some career high numbers."
The highlight of the weekend for Hargan was the tournament finale on Saturday. She smashed a season-high 22 terminations while hitting a .450 hitting percentage. She added 11 digs for the 22
nd double-double of her career. She also added three blocks to her ledger.
Through the first two weeks of the volleyball season, Hargan ranks second in the OVC in kills (4.05 kills per set) and points (4.69 points per set). Her 1080 career kills rank 6
th in the modern era in the Morehead State record book.
Sennett has dished out 161 assists through the first two weeks of the season, averaging 7.67 assists per set, which ranks fifth in the OVC. She now has 1,081 assists for her career, which ranks ninth in the Morehead State record book for the modern era.
The Eagles get back to action this weekend in Evansville, Ind., for the Aces tournament. They will face OVC foe Western Illinois Friday at 11:00 a.m., ET.
