Morehead, Ky.-- Morehead State Baseball is scheduled to play 19 home dates this season which will open with the Eagles taking on UMass-Lowell February 13-15 and concluding with the Ohio Valley Conference tournament May 19-22.

The opening series with UMass-Lowell was originally scheduled to be played at Allen Field at Prefontaine Park in Morehead. Due to the winter storm and continued cold weather in the are, field preparations have not been able to be completed; officials of MSU and UMass-Lowell are working to find a suitable replacement venue. A decision is expected by Monday.

After the opening series, the Eagles will embark on a 17-game road swing, commencing with a game at Kentucky February 17. The swing will feature midweek games at Northern Kentucky, Louisville on March 3, and UNC Ashville on March 10. MSU will play three-game series at Winthrop, Jackson State and Butler. The Eagles will wrap up their road trip with a four-game set at Western Carolina March 12-15.

MSU returns home March 17 with a single game against Ohio, and then open Ohio Valley Conference play hosting SIUE March 20-22 for a three-game series.

The schedule also features a trip to Eastern Kentucky and non-conference home-and-home tilts with Bellarmine and Marshall.

The season concludes with the Ohio Valley Conference tournament that runs May 19-22 in Marion, Illinois.
