TOURNAMENT CENTRAL
MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State Beach Volleyball heads to Martin, Tenn., this week to compete at the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament. The fourth-seeded Eagles open the event with an 11 a.m. ET match against fifth-seed Eastern Illinois Thursday.
A victory over EIU would send the Eagles into a 3 p.m. match versus No. 1 Chattanooga. The loser falls into the consolation side of the bracket and will play Friday at 1 p.m. All tournament matches will be live on ESPN+.
MSU heads into the tournament 8-17 overall and finished 4-6 in the conference. The Eagles defeated Eastern Illinois 4-1 on March 27 in Chattanooga and 3-2 in Morehead on April 17. Last season, however, the Panthers knocked off the Eagles 3-1 in the opening match of the 2025 OVC Tournament. That marked the only loss ever by an MSU team to EIU in beach volleyball.
