Morehead, Ky. -- Morehead State Baseball gets back to action Tuesday when it hosts Ohio at Allen Field at Prefontaine Park. First pitch is scheduled for 6:05 p.m. ET. The game can be watched on ESPN+; airtime is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. ET.

Morehead State is riding a four-game winning streak after its series sweep over UT Martin last weekend. The Eagles rapped out 57 hits in the three games against the Skyhawks, raising the team batting average 21 points to .313, which now leads the OVC.

Ohio is looking to rebound after being swept by Kent State last week in Athens. The Bobcats were outscored 42-8 in the three-game series.

- Morehead State's sweep of UT Martin last week was the first OVC series sweep for Morehead State since the Eagles swept SIUE in the last week of the regular season in the 2024 season.

- Morehead State's .313 team batting average ranks second in the OVC. In the UT Martin series, the Eagles went 57-188 at the plate (.483) and raised the team batting average 21 points.

- Kyle Krupp leads Morehead State with 19 stolen bases in 26 attempts and ranks second in the OVC in thefts.
- Krupp is second on the club hitting .353. After going hitless in the series opener Thursday, Krupp went 3-5 Friday, including a leadoff home run in bottom of the first, with three runs batted in and two runs scored. He followed that up with another two hits on Saturday in the series finale.

- Shortstop Jaden Correa is hitting .310 (5th on the team). His 37 runs batted in leads the team and ranks third in the OVC.
- Correa was held hitless Thursday against UT Martin. He rebounded by going 6-10 over the next two days. In the season finale Saturday, he went 3-5 with a double and a grand slam home run with five RBI. Correa is tied with Caden Sheridan for the team lead with nine home runs.
- Outfielder Davis Germann ranks third on the team hitting .328. He got off to a hot start in the UT Martin series going 8-10 at the plate with a double, a home run and five RBI in the first two games.
- Freshman second baseman Nick Griffith is riding a five-game hitting streak. In that span he hit 11-19 (.579) raising his batting average 61 points. He had a big game Saturday against UT Martin, going 4-4 with two doubles. He went 8-12 in the series with three doubles, a home run and two runs batted in. He scored six runs in the series.
- Catcher Caden Sheridan has thrown out 18 would-be base stealers this season, the most in the OVC.
- Alex Kean comes into the Ohio game on a 20-game reached base streak, the highest current streak on the team.
- Reliever Devin Costa has a 6.50 strikeouts to walk ratio and averages 4.68 strikeouts per nine innings and comes into the new week with a 1.40 WHIP.
- Costa picked up his third save of the season last Thursday, pitching the final four innings against UT Martin. He scattered six hits, giving up three runs.
