MOREHEAD, Ky. – Morehead State Soccer welcomes Northern Kentucky to MSU Soccer Field at home, hoping for a bounce back win following Thursday's 1-0 loss at Eastern Kentucky. Kickoff is set for 1:00 PM. ET., and will be streamed live on ESPN+.
It is the first game of a four-game home stand that is the team's longest in nine seasons. MSU also had four-game home stands in 2000, 2003, 2015, 2016 and 2017. The school record is five, which it had in both 1999 and 2010.
The Eagles currently sit at 2-3, but hold a 2-0 record at home. Northern Kentucky will be the first of four straight home matches giving MSU a big opportunity to build upon.
"Sunday is a great opportunity to bounce back from Thursday," said Head Coach
Paul Cox. "We play another tough opponent who will help prepare us for conference play."

Morehead State is coming off a 1-0 loss at Eastern Kentucky on Thursday in Richmond, Kentucky.
The Eagles were outshot 25-10, the largest they've been outshot all season.
Allie Lammers was a bright spot for the Eagles. Lammers recorded nine saves on the contest, posting a new career high. Lammers' nine saves was the most by an Eagle since
Claire Cress did it in the season opener against Marshall last season.
Northern Kentucky sits at 4-0 on the season, following three straight home victories under the leadership of Head Coach Bob Sheehan. The Norse currently sit atop the Horizon League, posting the conference's only undefeated record through the early stages of the season.

- Allie Lammers is tied for third in the OVC in saves, recording 19 through the first five games.
- The Eagles have scored six goals this season, with each goal coming from a different scorer, the first time that has happened since 2017.
- MSU has held its last three home opponents scoreless, a stretch that has reached 278 minutes and 21 seconds, and is riding a three-game home unbeaten streak.
- Hannah Burke recorded her eighth career assist as an Eagle in the win over Cleveland State, tying her for ninth in program history.
- Keara Chaffee and Charlotte Lee both scored the first goals of their collegiate careers, Lee against Miami (Ohio) and Chaffee against Cleveland State.
- MSU has scored in each of its first four games of the season, the first time it has accomplished the feat since 2015.
- Lee recorded four points through the first three games, becoming the first Eagle to do so since Hedda Ornberg did it from October 20-November 3 in 2024.
- Olivia Lowe and Kennedy Harmon each scored the first goals of their collegiate career in MSU's 2-0 victory over Brescia (Ky.)
- MSU tallied 41 shots against Brescia (Ky.) on Aug. 16, tying the school record for most shots in a single game. The Eagles previously recorded 41 shots against rival Austin Peay in October 2002.
- The Eagles held Brescia (Ky.) without a shot in their 2-0 victory on Aug. 16, marking the first time MSU has held an opponent without a shot for an entire game since defeating North Alabama, 2-0, in the 2021 season/home opener.
- Lee is the first Eagle to have assists in back-to-back games since Kate Larbes on Oct. 8 & 15, 2023, and is tied for second in the OVC in assists (2).
- Lee assisted on two of the first three goals that the Eagles scored this season, both off corner kicks. Both assists mark Lee's first two points of her career.
- The Morehead State offense is averaging 1.2 goals per game on an average of 13.8 shots per contest.
