MEN'S SCHEDULE | WOMEN'S SCHEDULE
MOREHEAD, Ky. -- The Ohio Valley Conference released its full slate of basketball schedules this week for the 2026-27 season, which features eight home contests for the Morehead State men's and women's basketball programs.
With the OVC sitting at nine institutions, the teams will each play a 16-game conference ledger with eight home and eight road contests. The full schedules with non-conference dates, tip-off times, ticket information and promotional days will be released at a later date.
The Eagles' road the conference championship is front-loaded with home games (five of the first seven) but that also sets up a tough back stretch with four of the final five league battles away from Johnson Arena.
Both teams will open on Dec. 30 at UT Martin before coming home for three straight. Eastern Illinois (Jan. 7), Lindenwood (Jan. 9) and Southern Indiana (Jan. 13) visit before the teams venture to Tennessee State (Jan. 16). Then it's back home for a weekend facing Western Illinois (Jan. 21) and SIUE (Jan. 23).
The following weekend is a road trip west to face Lindenwood (Jan. 28) and USI (Jan. 30). Southeast Missouri (Feb. 6) and TSU (Feb. 6) head to Johnson Arena, with the Feb. 6 weekend the annual Blue-Gold Weekend and Hall of Fame ceremonies. Trips to SIUE (Feb. 13), Western Illinois (Feb. 13), SEMO (Feb. 25) and EIU (Feb. 27) round out the final road games, while UT Martin comes to Morehead State on Feb. 20.
Last season, both teams finished among the upper echelon in the conference race, with the men's team claiming an OVC co-regular season championship. The women's team finished in fourth place, its highest showing since 2018-19.
