Freshman Gary Monroe established the school record in the 1,500-meter run, eclipsing the old mark by a second with a time of 3:50.58 at the Louisville Cardinal Twilight. His record capped off the 2012 outdoor season for the Eagles when 10 school records, many of which had stood since the 70s, were set.
