MOREHEAD, Ky. - This week, the Morehead State soccer team travels to Clarksville, Tenn., for a match with Austin Peay, before returning to Jayne Stadium on Sunday to host Murray State.
MSU NOTES
• Freshman forward Angela Black was named OVC Co-Offensive Player of the Week and College Sports Madness OVC Player of
the Week following her two goal and one assist performance in the 5-2 victory over Southeast Missouri. Black scored the first
goal of her career to tie the match at 2-2 and added another tally 18 seconds later. The St. Louis native then assisted on a goal
by junior forward Jade Flory 55 seconds later.
• The Eagles' 1-0 victory over SIU Edwardsville marked the first shutout for MSU since a 1-0 decision over Murray State on Nov. 3,
2011 at the OVC Tournament.
• Junior midfielders Caity Fox and McKenzie Ward each scored their first goals of the season in the victory over SEMO.
•Junior forward Jade Flory is tied for second in the OVC with seven goals, and her five assists are tied for the league lead.

• Austin Peay enters play tied for the most overall victories in the OVC (9). The Lady Govs also lead the league in points (80),
goals (29) and goals allowed (10).
• The Lady Govs feature the 2012 OVC Player of the Year in senior forward Tatiana Ariza. The Bogota, Colombia native leads the
OVC in points (29), goals (13) and is tied for the lead with three game-winning goals.
• Murray State enters the week second in the OVC with 24 goals and 23 assists. The Racers have lost eight of their last nine.
• Julie Mooney's seven goals are tied for second in the OVC. Mooney is also tied for the league lead with five assists.
