The Morehead State athletic department has compiled a list of top team performances and individual performers from the 2012-13 school year. Today’s highlight features the fifth-best team performance, as voted on by select members of the department.

CAMPBELL, N.C. -- The Morehead State softball team defeated Northern Kentucky, Drexel, Norfolk State and Campbell to sweep the Camel Stampede Tournament on March 8 and 9.
Senior pitcher Katie Pfost hurled a 1-0 shutout over Campbell, which included only three hits and one walk in seven innings. She also struck out five in the contest.
Senior designated player Adrena Anderson and senior shortstop Kayla Ashbrook led the Eagles offensively. Anderson went 7-for-13 with four RBI, while Ashbrook went 6-for-12 with five RBI.
The Eagles outscored their opponents, 28-12, in the four-game event. In addition to the blanking of Campbell, MSU posted wins over Northern Kentucky (8-6), Drexel (8-5) and Norfolk State (11-2, 5 inn.).
