Soccer Prepares for Louisville and Xavier

MOREHEAD, Ky. -
The Morehead State soccer team will travel to in-state foe Louisville on Friday before hosting Big East Conference member Xavier, Sunday at Jayne Stadium.

MSU NOTES

• This week, the Morehead State soccer team travels to in-state foe Louisville before hosting Xavier to close out the
weekend.

• Junior midfielder Holly Tilley scored her third career goal at Ohio. The Columbus, Ohio native has scored one goal
in each of her three seasons, and has started a team-leading 46 matches during her career.

• The Eagles enter this week as the Ohio Valley Conference leaders in corner kicks with 29. MSU's six goals and five
assists are tied for fifth best in the OVC.

• Through six matches, the Eagles have faced three opponents who won their respective conference tournament or
regular season championships. Ohio State is the defending Big Ten Tournament champion, while St. Francis (Pa.)
claimed Northeast Conference regular season honors and West Virginia is defending Big 12 Tournament Champion.

•Freshman goalkeeper Hannah Collins made her first career start in the match with Ohio. The Germantown, Ohio,
native saved four Bobcat shots.

PREVIEWING U of L & Xavier

• Louisville has opened the season 2-2-1, with victories versus Butler and at Miami (Ohio).

• The Cardinals rank fourth in the American Athletic Conference with 10 goals scored.

• Xavier enters action this week with an unbeaten mark of 3-0-1. The Musketeers' first four opponents are a
combined 7-14-3.

• The Musketeers' attack is led by freshman Tori Doss. The Indianapolis, Ind., native has three goals through four
matches.
