MOREHEAD, Ky. -- The Morehead State women's basketball team will look to get back in the win column Monday night when Austin Peay visits Johnson Arena for a 6 p.m. ET contest.
Following a four-game winning streak, the Eagles dropped a 79-58 decision to Eastern Kentucky Saturday. MSU is 8-8 overall and 2-1 in the Ohio Valley Conference.
Austin Peay is 3-13 overall and 0-3 in the league. The Lady Govs have lost 10 consecutive games, marking their longest losing skid since the 1990-91 season.

Terrice Robinson scored 22 points, but visiting Eastern Kentucky used a late 15-4 run to defeat MSU 79-58 Saturday at Johnson Arena. MSU forced 20 EKU mistakes, but the Eagles shot only 33 percent and were out-rebounded 41-26.
One of the Best Efforts Ever
In addition to tying the OVC single-game record, MSU's 19 three-pointers against Berea (Ky.) on Dec. 18 were the fourth-most in a game in NCAA Division I history. The record is 22.
Live by the Three
Morehead State averages 7.6 three-pointers made and 25.3 three-pointers attempted per game. MSU has put together six consecutive seasons with at least 200 three-pointers made. The 44 three-pointers attempted versus Berea (Ky.) on Dec. 18 set the school single-game record.

In the last six games, Morehead State is shooting 76 percent (77-of-101) at the free throw line. In comparison, in the first 10 games, MSU connected on just 65 percent at the charity stripe.

Terrice Robinson ranks second in the OVC in free throws made and attempted this year. She has drained 100 free tosses in 131 attempts.

Terrice Robinson ranks fifth in the Ohio Valley Conference with 18.6 points per game. She has 18 career 20+ point games. She also has 42 career double-figure scoring games to her credit.
Close to a Grand
Terrice Robinson is on pace to reach 1,000 career points this season. She currently has 962 points. Robinson would be the 21st player in program history to join the 1,000-point club.
Takeaways Are Her Specialty
Almesha Jones currently leads the OVC in steals per game at 2.1. She has 33 takeaways this year and 136 for her career, which ranks her tied for 10th in program history with former Eagle Shawne Marcum (1993-97).
Team Player
Almesha Jones, who ranks second in the OVC in assists per game, has recorded 23 career games with at least five assists. Eight of those games have come this season.
In Good Company
Allie Turner has moved into eighth place in program history in three-pointers. She has 137 career triples and needs only 27 more to move into the top five.
Making the Most of Her Opportunity
Shanice Parker entered the season with just 24 points in only 39 career games. But, Parker is having a breakout final campaign. She is averaging 7.8 points and is shooting 45 percent from the floor.
Tough Going Outside the Arc
The Eagles currently rank third in the conference in three-point defense. Opponents have managed to hit only 29 percent from outside the arc against MSU.
