MOREHEAD, Ky. -- The Morehead State soccer team returns home to honor its senior class this weekend. The Eagles take on Easten Illinois Sunday at Jayne Stadium at 1 p.m. ET. Morehead State is currently 8-5-5 overall and 3-3-2 in conference action, while EIU is 2-13-2 overall and 1-6-0 in the OVC.
Following the match, the Eagles have just one more regular-season contest on the slate, Oct. 31 at Eastern Kentucky.

The Golden NuggetAt Southeast Missouri, junior defender Kimberly Golden notched Morehead State's only goal and her third of the season. The Eagles fired 11 second-half shots, but could not come up with the win.
Seniors AplentyMSU will celebrate Senior Day Sunday. After having only one senior in 2013, the roster features 10 this season. Eight are four-year players, while Holly Tilley and Lindsey Oettle are redshirt seniors.
Moving on UpSenior Jade Flory has 25 career goals in 39 matches at MSU. She needs only five more to tie the career record held by Rebekah Kendall (2004-07) and Christina Moore (2000-03).
Champions Aren't Born; They're MadeMorehead State owns five OVC championship trophies. The Eagles have won the regular season title twice (2009, 2010) and claimed three tournament championships (2008, 2010, 2013).
The Man In ChargeHead Coach Warren Lipka is in his sixth season at Morehead State with a record of 52-50-18. He is in his 22nd season as a collegiate head coach with a career mark of 233-187-47. Lipka was named the OVC Coach of the Year in 2010, 2011 and 2013.
