MOREHEAD, Ky. -- The Morehead State women's basketball team is set for its final regular-season road contest of the year on Wednesday. The Eagles visit Tennessee State for a 7 p.m. ET tipoff.
Morehead State (12-15, 8-6 OVC) will be looking to even the season series with Tennessee State (13-12, 10-4) and halt a six-game losing skid to the Tiger program.
Following the game, MSU will host Jacksonville State for Senior Day on Saturday. Tipoff for that contest, part of a doubleheader with the Eagle men's squad, is at 3 p.m. ET.

The Series
• Morehead State leads the series 30-22. TSU has won six straight.
Tourney Time
• Morehead State has clinched a berth in the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament. It will be the first appearance since 2011-12.
• MSU has also secured at least a .500 or above OVC mark for the first time since 2010-11.
Broken Records
• Senior guard Almesha Jones is Morehead State's career assist leader with 562. She broke the previous mark of 499 on Jan. 24.
• Jones set the MSU single-season assist record on Feb. 7 against Tennessee State. She now has 219 assists this season.
• Jones ranks fifth on the OVC single-season assist chart and eighth on the OVC career chart.
Keeping Up With the Joneses
• Almesha Jones is the 22nd member of Morehead State's 1,000-point club. She now has 1,388 points in 114 career games and is ranked 14th in scoring at MSU. She needs five points to move to 13th place.
• Jones ranks second in the nation in total assists (219) and second in assists per game (8.1). She has eight double-digit assist games.
• Jones was recently named to the Nancy Lieberman Award Watch List, honoring the nation's top Division I point guard.
Fabulous Freshman Season
• Freshman forward Eriel McKee has scored in double figures in 189of the 24 collegiate games she's appeared in.
• McKee has seven double-doubles and nine double-figure rebounding games.
Steele The One
• Shay Steele leads the OVC in blocked shots (49). She is now sixth in career blocks (76) at Morehead State.
• Steele has six 20-point games this year.
• She has scored in double figures in 12 of the last 16 games.
• Steele registered a career-best 25 points against Tennessee State on Feb. 7.
Putting Up The Points
• Morehead State's 90-point effort in the win over Tennessee Tech Monday was its most in a league game since scoring 103 versus UT Martin on Dec. 2, 2010.
