MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State soccer (3-4-1) fell on the road at Ball State (5-2-1) by a score of 4-0 on Friday.
Freshman goalkeeper Eva Ýr Helgadóttir recorded her fourth start after a rain delay that postponed kickoff until 6:15 p.m. The 6-foot-2 Iceland native made nine saves by way of 27 Ball State shot attempts. Morehead State tried just three shots over the course of the match, with three attempts coming on goal.
The Eagles will spend the weekend in the Hoosier state as they prepare to face Valparaiso (4-5) on Sunday. Morehead State will kick off with the Crusaders on Sept. 18 at 2 p.m. ET in Valparaiso, Ind. The match will be streamed live on
