Bridget Bessler has once again been honored as the Ohio Valley Conference Setter of the Week.
With Bessler's latest accolade, she has tied former teammate
Olivia Lohmeier for the most individual OVC weekly honors in program history with 13. Her award marks the 154th all-time weekly honor from the OVC for the program and fifth this year.
The OVC leader in assists per set averaged 12.7 helpers in the Eagles' two wins over Eastern Illinois and helped guide the MSU offense to hit .306 on the weekend. Not only was she directing the offense, but Bessler also played a huge role on defense, blocking 10 total Panther attacks. She had 43 assists Thursday, averaging 14.3 per set and added 46 more on Friday.
The Eagles have a busy week, hosting Tennessee Tech Wednesday and traveling to Southern Indiana for a weekend pair.
