MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State men's basketball will be hitting the road again this weekend when the Eagles head up to "Happy Valley" in the Keystone State to take on Penn State Friday. Tip-off at PSU's Bryce Jordan Center is 7 p.m. ET.
Morehead State faces Penn State for the first time since the 2006-07 team played In State College to begin former head coach Donnie Tyndall's tenure. MSU will look for its first-ever win against a Big 10 foe.
The game can be heard on the Eagle Sports Radio Network (
WIVY-96.3 FM) with Chuck Mraz and Dean Hardin. It is also available on MSUEagles.com. The game will air on Peacock network with Jason Knapp and Stephen Bardo as the voice talent.

Riley Minix ranks third in the OVC in scoring (18.5). Minix hit all 12 of his free throws in the Mercer game and is a perfect 20-for-20 at the free throw line this season.

Eddie Ricks III averaged 10.3 points and 6.3 rebounds in his first collegiate week, including an 18-point game against Shawnee State.

Drew Thelwell could become the winningest individual player in program history this season. If the Eagles win 18 more games, that will give the four-year Eagle 88 wins when he was on the team. That would surpass Terrence Hill, who was a part of 87 wins from 2008-09 through 2011-12.
