MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Men's Basketball has added 6-7 forward Tyonne Farrell, one of the top freshmen in the Atlantic 10 Conference last season.
Farrell, a native of Baltimore, Md., was a two-time A-10 Rookie of the Week at Rhode Island in 2024-25.
"Tyonne is a versatile wing with a relentless motor. He can really drive the ball and finishes with athleticism at the rim," said Head Coach
Jonathan Mattox. "Tyonne plays with a contagious energy. He will be an exciting player for our fans to watch."
He averaged 5.2 points and 3.8 rebounds for the Rams. Farrell recorded his first double-double, finishing with 10 points, 10 rebounds and six assists against Franklin Pierce (Pa.). He managed to hit 44 percent from the floor during his 18 games.
Farrell prepped at Mt. St. Joseph High School in Maryland.
