MOREHEAD, Ky. – After a perfect weekend on the road,
Anya Reinhard and
Abby Hulsman have been named Ohio Valley Conference Pair of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.
The honor marks the first for each player and is only the third time in school history a pair has received the award; the first since 2021.
Reinhard and Hulsman swept their matches against Erskine and Carson-Newman as the third pair, winning both contests in straight sets. With the two victories, Hulsman now sits 5-1 this season, while Reinhard improved to 2-1 at No.3.
The pair now looks ahead to their home opener, with a pair of matches against Tusculum (Tenn.) on March 20 at 1:00 and 3:00 PM. A Women's History event will take place with the matches.
