MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State's Kenny White, Jr., has earned his first career Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Week award.
White, Jr., from Madisonville, Ky., is at his third OVC school, plus former OVC program Murray State.
The 6-foot-7 guard/forward averaged 23.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists while hitting 62 percent from the floor as the Eagles split games at the Cleveland State Thanksgiving Throwback Event. He erupted for a career high 34 points against NJIT while adding a season high seven rebounds and five rebounds. He scored 12 with four rebounds in a win over the host CSU Vikings.
White, Jr., is MSU's leading point producer so far with 15.7 ppg. He also averages 5.4 rebounds while shooting 53 percent from the field.
