MOREHEAD, Ky. -- In between Ohio Valley Conference weekends, the Morehead State Beach Volleyball team steps aside for a pair of non-conference battles on Tuesday as the Eagles trek to Richmond, Ky., to face Tusculum (Tenn.) and the host EKU Colonels.
MSU opens with a 12 p.m. ET matchup against TU and concludes against EKU immediately after.
It will be round two against both these opponents this year as the Eagles upended their former OVC rivals 3-2 on opening weekend in Ohio. MSU topped the Pioneers of Tusculum in Morehead 4-1 on March 4.
Morehead State sits at 11-7 overall in 2025. The Eagles have won five of their last six duals, moving to 5-1 in the OVC.
Peighton Isley has an identical pairs record (11-7) and is leading MSU in wins.
M.E. Hargan and
Sarah Heath have double digit (10) wins as well.
Tusculum enters the day with wins in its last four matches to move to 8-10 on the season.
EKU has posted a 9-10 mark this spring, winning two of its last three. The Colonels compete in the Atlantic Sun Conference but the league does not contest any regular season duals prior to conference tournament.
The Eagles will be idle this weekend before finishing the regular season hosting OVC Weekend No. 2 on April 18-19.
