Morehead, Ky. -- The Morehead State women's basketball team has added another transfer to the program; Spanish national Circe Rubio Remolar has inked with MSU out of the portal.
Remolar, a 6-1 junior, has spent the first two years of her collegiate career at Delaware State. Last season, she started 14 of the 28 games she appeared in, averaging 4.0 points and 4.4 rebounds per game.
"Circe brings valuable size in the paint and is a consistent scoring threat with a high field goal percentage," said MSU head coach Ashton Feldhaus. "She has a great feel for the game and makes her presence known on the boards."
The native of Zaragoza, Spain had a career-high 17 rebounds against North Carolina Central on January 13. She posted a career-high 13 points last December 14 at Long Island University.
"Circe's easy-going nature and team-first attitude make her a great addition to our culture," said Feldhaus. "I'm excited to have her with us at Morehead State and look forward to the role she'll play in helping MSU women's basketball become a front-runner in the OVC."
Remolar was named to the MEAC All-Academic Team in 2024-25.
