SCHEDULE
MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State Soccer will host 10 regular season home matches this fall as part of its 18-match schedule. The home schedule features regional rivals Marshall, Eastern Kentucky and Bellarmine as well as former OVC rival Austin Peay.

Paul Cox is in his second season after leading the Eagles to the OVC Tournament Championship match last fall and the conference's berth into the NCAA Tournament.
The Eagles will kick off action with a pair of exhibition matches, hosting Brescia (Ky.) on Aug. 7 and traveling to Cincinnati on Aug. 10.
The regular season season starts on Aug. 14 at home as Marshall makes the hour trek over on Interstate 64. Three days later, the Eagles host former OVC foe Austin Peay.Â
The battle for the Bluegrass Cup is on Aug. 28 at home as EKU visits. Last season, the Eagles reclaimed the cup with a 2-1 win at EKU. The final two non-conference home matches feature Miami (Ohio) on Sept. 4 and Bellarmine on Sept. 11.
The Eagles will also face a number of road challenges prior to OVC action. Road matches include Chattanooga (Aug. 24), Northern Kentucky (Aug. 31), Radford (Sept. 7) and Cleveland State (Sept. 14). CSU is led by former Eagle assistant coach Mark Sappington.
The conference's nine-match ledger includes five home tilts, starting off with Western Illinois on Sept. 21. MSU also hosts 2024 tournament champion Lindenwood (Sept. 28), 2024 regular season champion Tennessee Tech (Oct. 9), UT Martin (Oct. 16) and Southeast Missouri (Oct. 26). Road matches will be at Southern Indiana (Sept. 25), Eastern Illinois (Oct. 5), Little Rock (Oct. 12) and Southeast Missouri (Oct. 26).
The OVC Tournament keeps the same format its had for recent years. The third and fourth seeds host the opening weekends with a single bye as Nos. 5-8 play. Number one seed hosts the semifinals and championship match with No. 2 getting a bye into the semifinals.
