Morehead, Ky.-- The Morehead State women's basketball team's non-conference portion of their 2025-26 schedule features power conference foes and some familiar rivals to open the season.
The Eagles will open the Ashton Feldhaus era with a four-game road swing beginning at 15th-ranked Kentucky on November 3. The Eagles travel to Bellarmine and Ohio before visiting 20th-ranked Louisville on November 19 to round out the road swing.
"Our team will get the chance to play on the road against some of the biggest programs in the country," said Feldhaus. "We also will be hosting some great in-state programs to balance the schedule."
Morehead State welcomes USC-Upstate in its home opener on November 22 to kick off a four-game homestand. The Eagles will play host to former Ohio Valley Conference rival Eastern Kentucky the day before Thanksgiving, November 26. Games with former OVC foes Marshall and Murray State round out the homestand.
MSU travels to Louisiana and Notre Dame to close out their pre-conference preparation.
"Putting together a non-conference schedule is always a balancing act," said Feldhaus. " I want to challenge the team, prepare them for the conference schedule ahead, and also give them opportunities to grow while hopefully picking up some wins along the way."
