Morehead State has won six straight home games against Tennessee State. Overall, the Eagles still lead the series 49-40 but Tennessee State has claimed the last two meetings after MSU won nine straight in the head-to-head since 2020-21.
TSU edged Southern Indiana on Thursday and is 17-8 overall and 11-4 in the league, tied atop the leaderboard with UT Martin.

George Marshall, Jr., scored a career-high 29 points in the first meeting with the Tigers, including the game-tying three-pointer to send it overtime. But, MSU fell 105-100 in an epic extra-period contest in Nashville Jan. 15.
Jon Carroll scored a career-high 22 points.
