MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State's Beach Volleyball team will be in South Carolina this weekend and into Monday as the Eagles take part in the Coastal Carolina Invitational and face College of Charleston twice.
The Eagles (1-5) will face South Florida and Salem (N.C.) Friday before playing CCU twice on Saturday. MSU will go up against C of C in a double dual on Monday.
MSU has dropped four of its five losses by 3-2 counts.
M.E. Hargan and
Shea Hefner lead the Eagles with four wins apiece, all at pairs 1-2.
South Florida enters the weekend at 8-4 and is coming off four consecutive wins last week at the Tampa Beach Brawl.
Salem, a Division III school in Winston-Salem, N.C., is 5-3 in its second year sponsoring beach. All five wins are against junior college programs.
Coastal Carolina sports a 4-8 record in 2026, but six of the Chants' matches have been against teams in the top 25 or receiving votes in the poll.
College of Charleston was 3-6 before a tournament this weekend at the University of South Carolina.
Morehead State will open Ohio Valley Conference action next weekend as they'll face Tennessee Tech twice. Due to construction at TTU, the matches will be played in Louisville, Tenn., near Knoxville.
