MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State Beach Volleyball heads south to open Ohio Valley Conference action on Thursday as the Eagles and Tennessee Tech meet up at K2 Volleyball facility in Louisville, Tenn.
MSU (2-9) faces a TTU squad that has also found winning tough this year at 2-11. The Golden Eagles have been shut out eight times and dropped 4-1 contests three other times. Due to construction on TTU's campus, the beach courts there are not available at this time.
Morehead State leads the all-time series 6-2 and has won five straight over TTU, but five of the last eight in the series have been 3-2 decisions for each team.
The Eagles' top pairing this year has been at No. 2 where
M.E. Hargan and
Shea Hefner are 5-4. The duo each has seven total individual wins as well to lead the program.
MSU will then travel to Chattanooga next weekend for the opening OVC weekend.
