Morehead, Ky. -- The Morehead State women's basketball team has added Northern Kentucky transfer Kamora Morgan to the 2026-27 roster.

A native of Oshawa, Ontario, Morgan appeared in 32 games last season for NKU, making four starts and averaging 12.9 minutes per outing. She averaged 3.4 points and 1.8 rebounds per game, shooting 32% from the floor and 84% from the free throw line. She tossed in a season-high 14 points against Drake November 26.

"Kamora is an elite talent who will make an immediate impact on our program," said Morehead State head coach Jackie Alexander. "She is a thoughtful and intentional person and player whose relentless work ethic and commitment on both ends of the floor will elevate our team from the moment she arrives on campus."

A two-time Horizon League Freshman of the Week honoree in the 2024-25 season, Morgan appeared in 32 games making eight starts. She averaged 7.6 points and 2.4 rebounds per game. She broke out with 21 points off the bench on 8-12 shooting against Southern Indiana (11/23) and matched that total against Cleveland State on 9-17 shooting from the floor (12/4).

Morgan set her career high of 23 points against Oakland, adding seven rebounds and three assists (12/29). She shot 38% from the floor and 72% from the free throw line in her inaugural collegiate season.

"Having coached against her during her freshman year, I've seen firsthand the competitiveness, poise, and presence she brings to the game," said Alexander. "I couldn't be more excited to have her on our side."

Morgan prepped at Fort Erie International Academy where she averaged 11.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.1 steals and 1.7 assists per game.
Morgan said she is excited to join the Eagles, citing the personal relationship with the coaches.
