Ian McCubbin have been named to the All-Ohio Valley Conference First Team to headline seven Morehead State baseball players selected to All-OVC teams, announced today by the conference office.

Kearns led Morehead State with a .383 batting average this season which ranked fourth in the Ohio Valley Conference. He also led the Eagles with 58 runs batted in (fifth in the OVC) and his 1.087 OPS was second on the team and ranked eighth in the conference.

Kearns led Morehead State with 26 multiple hit games. He set the team high with a 10-game hitting streak and finished the season on an eight-game hitting streak. He hit safely in 46 of Morehead State's 54 games and led the Eagles with 26 multiple-hit games.

McCubbin led the Eagles with 13 home runs, tied for eighth-most in the OVC. His 55 runs batted in were also the eighth-most in the conference. McCubbin had a blistering month of April, hitting .406 (28-69) raising his batting average 51 points in the month. He piled up seven home runs, four doubles and a triple and drove in 23 runs.

Germann finished the season with a .341 average and led the Eagles with 18 doubles, tied for second in the OVC. He notched 24 multiple-hit games. He ended the season hitting safely in eight of the last nine games.

Sheridan started 49 games catching in 48, including 26 of MSU's 27 conference games. He threw out 21 base stealers, leading the OVC. His 12 home runs tied with Kearns and Jaden Corea for second-most on the team.

Krupp appeared in 48 games in the regular season, making 45 starts. He posted a .315 batting average with five doubles, three triples and 24 runs batted in. He led the Eagles and ranked fourth in the OVC with 24 stolen bases in 34 attempts.

Griffith played and started in 50 of Morehead State's games in the regular season establishing himself as the Eagles' regular second baseman. He posted a .278 average with seven home runs, seven doubles and a triple.

Davis made 14 starts on the mound for Morehead State, the most on the club, posting a 3-2 record with a 6.28 ERA. He threw 57 and a third innings, allowing 67 hits, 45 runs (40 earned). He walked 30 batters and notched 24 strikeouts.

Morehead State wrapped up the regular season with a 31-23 overall record (a 17-win improvement over the 2025 campaign) with a 15-12 conference mark. The Eagles face off with Southern Indiana this evening in the opening round of the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament at Mt. Dew Park. First pitch is scheduled for 60 minutes following the Lindenwood/UT Martin game, which is at 1 p.m. ET. The game will be aired on ESPN+.
