Hayley Wild collected her fourth win in singles competition as Morehead State women's tennis fell to Northern Kentucky University 4-3 on Saturday afternoon at Sadler Courts.
The Eagles had their record drop to 0-9 overall, and the Norse move to 4-5 on the season.
"We have gotten so much better this week," said Head Coach
Kevin Fulton. "If we continue what we've been doing in practice, then they'll start to see the results."
Wild defeated Hayley Shanahan in straight (6-0, 6-2) for her team-leading fourth win of the season.
"Hayley (Wild) was exceptional today," said Fulton. "Alek Savic and
Zina Mehikic really turned the corner mentally today. It was fun to watch them finish matches."
