The Eagles (1-12, 1-2 OVC) claimed their first victory of the season, putting an end to a 12-match losing streak. The Tigers (7-4, 1-2) dropped their second OVC match of the season.

Morehead State began the day up 1-0 after winning two of three doubles matches. Senior
Ayaka Terashi and freshman
Zina Mehikic teamed up for a 6-4 win against Abhilasha Vishwanath and Pragati Natraj. The second doubles win came from junior
Hayley Wild and sophomore
Maria Orenella in a 6-1 defeat of Phoenix Gandy and Taylor Patterson.

Hayley Wild picked up her team-leading sixth singles win, a 6-4, 6-3 victory against Phoenix. Mehikic collected her second win in three matches, defeating Natraj in straight sets 6-2, 6-1. Terashi duplicated Mehikic, winning in straight sets against Ani Popiashvili 6-2, 6-0.
