MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State Beach Volleyball gets set to wind down its regular season with a crucial quartet of matches this weekend. It's OVC Weekend No. 2, and the results could go a long way in determining seeding for next week's OVC Tournament.
The Eagles face Eastern Illinois at 3 p.m. ET Friday, followed by a match against the host team, UT Martin, at 7 p.m. On Saturday, MSU battles Lindendwood at 11 a.m. before wrapping the action at 3 p.m. versus Chattanooga.
Morehead State sits at 6-11 overall and 2-4 in league matchups. The Eagles will be looking to put the kibosh on a five-match losing streak.
Sophomore
M.E. Hargan continues to be MSU's winningest player this season as she sports a 10-7 record at No. 3.
The Eagles' last OVC weekend resulted in a 1-3 showing. MSU defeated Eastern Illinois 4-1 before falling 5-0 to the other three teams.
MSU will host the OVC Tournament next week at Giovanni's Breadstick Beach, beginning on Thursday, April 25.
