LIVE SCORING

MOREHEAD, Ky.-- The Morehead State men's golf team will travel down the road to Richmond, Ky., to play in the Colonel Shootout, hosted by Eastern Kentucky in the Eagles' second tournament of their fall campaign on Sept. 20-21. The 6,714-yard, par 70 University Club at Arlington will host the event.

"I am excited to see so many guys get a chance to compete this weekend," said Morehead State Head Coach Matthew Martin. "Arlington provides some different challenges than we faced in North Carolina, and I look forward to seeing how we can handle those."

The tournament is heavy in inter-state competition. Along with the host Eastern Kentucky, the tournament includes Kentucky State, Pikeville, Centre, Kentucky, and Louisville. The Colonel Shootout also includes non-Kentucky schools such as Marshall, Longwood, Prairie View A&M, Mercyhurst, and Ohio Valley Conference member Tennessee State.

Morehead State is fresh off a fourteenth-place finish at the JT Poston Invitational, hosted by Western Carolina, in its season opener Sept. 14-16.

The first two rounds will be played on Saturday with the final round on Sunday.
