MOREHEAD, Ky. -- The Morehead State Men's Golf Team heads down South for The Savannah Intercollegiate, hosted by the City of Savannah, Ga.

The two-day event, over the par-72, 7,131-yard Club at Savannah Harbor Course, will be a 54-hole stroke-play event. The Eagles will play 36 holes on Saturday and will play the final 18 holes the next morning.

The Eagles are coming off an eighth-place finish in the Compadres Collegiate. The first tournament of 2026 took place in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, and was the first known international tournament in program history.

Head Coach Matthew Martin mentioned his hopes following the tournament in Mexico.

"This will be a great opportunity to build on the progress we made in Mexico," Martin followed. "The course is new for us, but sounds like it will provide another quality test."
