MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State Beach Volleyball is primed and ready for its lone home matches of the 2026 season this weekend when the Eagles host OVC weekend No. 2.
The Eagles will entertain the five other beach-sponsoring OVC teams at Giovanni's Breadstick Beach, with seeding on the line for next week's league tournament in Martin, Tenn. MSU will face Eastern Illinois at 2 p.m. ET and UT Martin at 6 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles return Saturday against Lindenwood at 10 a.m. and close with Chattanooga at 6 p.m.
Morehead State's matches will air live on ESPN+.
MSU enters the weekend tied with UTM in the league race at 3-3. MSU is 7-14 overall. Chattanooga leads the conference at 6-0 and has won 21 consecutive league matchups since 2024. Lindenwood comes in at 5-1, while EIU sits at 1-5. Tennessee Tech, which the Eagles have already faced twice and will not play against this weekend, is winless at 0-6.

Shea Hefner is Morehead State's most successful player by record this year at 13-8. She has played all 21 of her matches at No. 2. Senior
M.E. Hargan is right behind at 12-9. Junior
Bella Marita also has been notable, with nine victories.
At the previous OVC weekend in Chattanooga, the Eagles defeated EIU 4-1 but fell to the other three foes by either 5-0 and 4-1 counts.
